Digital Pedagogy Lab 2017 was held at the University of Mary Washington alongside a supplemental event at the Kwantlen Polytechnic University (DPL Vancouver) in order to provide more access to participants subject to Donald Trump's travel ban of January 2017. The two events together drew more than 150 attendees from the Americas and internationally. Adeline Koh and Sara Goldrick-Rab offered the main keynotes, and Maha Bali and Chris Gilliard closed the event.
